All good things must come to an end

10/7/2024

The last two assignments for my first two classes in my masters program are about to be turned in!! I am breathing a sigh of relief and panic hoping i have made all the changes I was supposed to and covered all of my bases. . These last 8 weeks have flown by at a snails pace! But I can say I am truly so proud of the work I have turned in. I was questioning my sanity after reading what we would be doing the first week of class, and I am not going to lie, the thought of jumping ship crossed my mind a time or three. But after a few online sessions with Dr. J and the amazing support of my group, I knew I would make it! So thankful that I was blessed with them for my first round of classes It made the decision not to jump ship a little easier.

Throughout these weeks, two concepts have profoundly influenced my perspective: COVA (Choice, Ownership, Voice, and Authenticity) and the Growth Mindset. Both have reshaped how I approach my work and will undoubtedly continue to guide me throughout my academic and professional journey in education.

In the past few weeks, I have faced numerous challenges. However, with the support of my wonderful professor and a fantastic group, I have managed to tackle each one effectively and achieve commendable results. Their support and collaboration have been so important in navigating these challenges.

As these two classes wrap up, I think about how excited I am about the next steps in this program and thankful that my group and I will continue it together! - LM
