Returning to the second half of the fall semester has been a whirlwind of activity as I juggle my responsibilities between work and school. After being out for two-weeks sick, I came back to a pile of tasks—progress reports, a field trip, parent-teacher conferences, and ten days' worth of assignments to sort through. It honestly feels like I'm running in circles, trying to catch up and keep everything balanced. The reading for these two class is intense, but I am thankful that the assignments are spread out. I have to say, I really liked the way we did discussion boards last 8 weeks. It was more personal and the replies didn’t seem so generic.
I really enjoyed working on the What’s your Why assignment. It gave me a chance to pause and reconnect with my motivations, which was a breath of fresh air. It helped me reflect on my personal goals, breaking up the routine in a meaningful way. I'm also incredibly thankful for my group's support—working with them has been key in getting through this busy time. Their teamwork and insights have made everything feel more manageable, and even enjoyable!! -LM
